Francophone Community Immigration Pilot (FCIP) is a community-driven immigration program that allows French-speaking foreign nationals to live and work in designated Francophone communities outside Quebec.<\/p>\n<p>The program\u2019s primary goals are to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support the economic and cultural development of Francophone communities;<\/li>\n<li>Encourage population growth in smaller regions; and<\/li>\n<li>Address local labour market shortages through skilled immigration.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The FCIP follows a similar model to the Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot (RNIP). To qualify, candidates must receive a community recommendation after obtaining a valid job offer from a designated employer.<\/p>\n<h2>Participating Communities<\/h2>\n<p>As of 2025, six Francophone communities across Canada are participating in the pilot:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Acadian Peninsula, New Brunswick<\/li>\n<li>Sudbury, Ontario<\/li>\n<li>Timmins, Ontario<\/li>\n<li>Superior East Region, Ontario<\/li>\n<li>St. Pierre Jolys, Manitoba<\/li>\n<li>Kelowna, British Columbia<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Each community maintains its own list of designated employers and available job opportunities. Applicants must secure a job offer from one of these employers before applying for community recommendation.<\/p>\n<h2>Eligibility Requirements<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Language Proficiency<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Applicants must demonstrate proficiency in French at a minimum of NCLC 5 in all four skills (reading, writing, listening, and speaking).<br \/>\nAccepted French language tests include TEF Canada and TCF Canada.<br \/>\nEnglish language test results are not mandatory but may provide additional points or help in job placement.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li>Valid Job Offer<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>You must obtain a full-time, non-seasonal job offer from a designated employer located in one of the participating communities.<br \/>\nThe job offer should match your previous work experience and skill set.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li>Community Recommendation<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>After receiving a job offer, you (or your employer) must apply for a community recommendation.<br \/>\nThe local economic development organization of the community will review your profile and issue a recommendation if approved.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"4\">\n<li>Work Experience<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>You must have at least one year of continuous full-time (or equivalent part-time) work experience in the past three years in a related occupation.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"5\">\n<li>Proof of Funds<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>You must demonstrate that you have sufficient financial resources to support yourself and your family upon arrival in Canada.<br \/>\nThe required amount depends on the size of your family.<br \/>\nApplicants already working in Canada with a valid work permit are exempt from this requirement.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"6\">\n<li>Intention to Reside<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Applicants must intend to live and work in the community that provides the recommendation.<\/p>\n<h2>Required Documents<\/h2>\n<p>When applying through FCIP, prepare the following documents:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Valid passport<\/li>\n<li>French language test results (TEF or TCF)<\/li>\n<li>Valid job offer letter from a designated employer<\/li>\n<li>Community recommendation letter<\/li>\n<li>Proof of work
